Batson Engineering, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how information is handled across our desktop software suite, specifically:

  • Vlog One Studio Capture​

  • Vlog One Studio Presenter

(collectively referred to as the "Apps" or individually as an "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any data processed through our software.
 
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies specifically to your use of Vlog One Studio Capture and Vlog One Studio Presenter, available via the Microsoft Store. Both applications operate under the same core security, authentication, and data privacy principles outlined below.

2. Information We Collect and Process

  • Account Authentication Information: When you launch either Vlog One Studio Capture or Vlog One Studio Presenter for the first time, you are prompted to sign in using the account credentials (such as your username/email and authentication token) that you created when signing up on our website.

  • Local User Preferences & Configuration: Both Apps allow you to adjust account settings, capture parameters, presentation preferences, and application configurations directly within their respective interfaces.

  • Media, Audio, and Video Feeds:

    • Vlog One Studio Capture connects to your local or networked media sources (such as webcams, capture devices, or local video feeds) strictly to record and process video locally on your PC, or to live stream your media to location(s) you specify.

    • Any and all live stream keys or other identifiers for live stream(s) are stored locally on your computer, and are never transmitted in any way to us.

    • Vlog One Studio Presenter accesses local files, presentation assets, and display feeds to render your workflow on your local system.

    • We do not collect, monitor, upload, or store your private video, audio, or presentation content on our servers. All content generation remains local to your device, or streamed to the location(s) you specify.

 

3. How Your Information Is Stored and Secured

  • Local Encrypted Storage: Your login credentials are encrypted and stored directly on your personal computer. Plaintext passwords are never stored unencrypted on your local file system.

  • Encrypted Transmission: Authentication requests between either App and our website servers are conducted strictly over secure, encrypted protocols.

  • Local Sandboxing and Access: The Apps only access file paths, output directories, and hardware devices (cameras, microphones) that you explicitly authorize or select for capturing and presenting.

 

4. How We Use Information
Information processed by Vlog One Studio Capture and Vlog One Studio Presenter is used solely to:

  • Authenticate your identity and verify valid license or subscription entitlements.

  • Maintain a persistent local sign-in state so you do not have to re-enter credentials every time you launch either App.

  • Retain and apply your customized application configurations, tool layouts, and output preferences.

 

5. Third-Party Sharing and Tracking

  • No Data Brokerage or Sale: We never sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your personal credentials or application usage data to third parties.

  • No Telemetry Tracking or Ad Networks: Neither Vlog One Studio Capture nor Vlog One Studio Presenter contains third-party behavioral advertising SDKs or cross-site tracking tools.

 

6. User Control and Data Retention

  • In-App Account Settings: You can modify your account profile and application settings at any time from within either App’s settings menu.

  • Web Account Management: To edit or delete your master web account entirely, sign into your member dashboard on our website.

 

7. Children's Privacy and Family Use

Vlog One Studio Capture and Vlog One Studio Presenter are creative tools designed to be family-friendly and safe for users of all ages. Neither application contains mature content, objectionable material, behavioral advertising, or third-party tracking.

Because using the Apps requires an account created via our website, we do not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to register directly or provide personal information without parental guidance and consent. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided personal information without your consent and would like the account deleted, please contact us at support@vlogonestudio.com so we may do so.
 
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to reflect feature enhancements, software updates, or legal compliance changes across our product suite. Revisions will be published with an updated "Last Updated" date.
